The Rotaract Club of SSSS College of Commerce for Women, Amritsar, celebrated Maha Shivratri on February 13, 2026, by distributing 201 milk packets to needy individuals. This act, done a day before Shivratri (February 13, 2026), honored the tradition of offering milk to Lord Shiva for health and prosperity, showcasing the college’s values of kindness, community service, and respect for all faiths.
This initiative reflects the college’s inclusive culture, where diversity is celebrated and respect for all faiths is part of everyday life.
Addressing the students, Principal Dr. Payal Nanda encouraged the students and faculty members to keep engaging in such activities. Faculty members Ms. Kawaljeet Kaur and Ms. Mamta Arora, along with 18 students, actively participated in the program. Dr. Tina Vohra and Mrs. Natasha Mahajan conducted and coordinated the event.
